2018 Reading Challenge…So many books and I am out of time!

The books I have read over the last few months have been incredible. I have been kinda hooked on fiction that takes place in my home state of Louisiana. FYI…I am sucker for romance. I read other things too but reading that genre even YA is so effortless when I already read to much as a teacher. LOL

Here are some of those reads…you should check them out.

However with the end of 2017, I didn’t finish my reading challenge list.  I planned to leave Gone With the Wind for the month of December since that book is the largest one I have left. Thanks to my sis for continuously reminding me that I need to read that. HAHA. But it seems unlikely. I keep getting sidetracked by other books.  I will shoot for another challenge in  2018.

I did set myself a goal of reading 105 books in 2017 and I made it.

Here is what I completed from the 2017 reading Challenge list:

  1. a book you chose because of the cover – Love Letters to the Dead **
  2. a book you’ve previously started but never finished – A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Grey
  3. a book by an author you already love – King’s Cage by Victoria Aveyard
  4. a book that everyone is raving about – A Dog’s Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron
  5. a book recommend by your partner or a friend (bestie) – Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
  6. a book to ‘expand your horizons’ – The Power of Intention by Dr. Wayne Dyer
  7. a book considered ‘a classic’ – To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
  8. a book published in 2017 -A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah Maas (May 2, 2017)
  9. a book by an author you’ve never read – The Sun is also a Star by Nicole Yoon
  10. a book you’ve been meaning to read – Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
  11. a book set in a city you want to travel to – Paris Time Capsule by Ella Carey
  12. a book that has been turned into a movie – The Shack by William P. Young

I did create a challenge list for 2018. Check it out below and comment if you are going to do the challenge with me. I will have to take that days between now and the new year to decide if I have books in mind already that will meet the criteria.
