5 Sweets To Blow Away Your Peeps

Baking is my jam like I always end up being in charge of the sweets at every family event.

I always love trying out new recipes I find. Some are just old faithfuls my family request each year.

I thought it would be fun putting together a list of what sugar-coma will be going down this Spring Break.

BUNNY CAKEBunny-Cut-Up-Cake-1.jpg

I can’t tell you how many years my mom and I made this cake. It was simple and easy to do as a child.

I thought it would be fun to finally do this with my boys this year. Homan At Homehas those instruction actually written down. I am pretty sure my mom had seen that in a issue of Family Circle magazine.

I remember using jellybeans to line the bunny, oreos for its eyes and different colored icing for the other parts.

When I saw this on one of my many trolls on the internet, my first thought was ADORABLE.

Come on, this are so cute!

After reading the recipe from Kid + Kin Blog, that sound easy. I can do this. I know a few people who will likely eat the whole tray.

I can just tell that I will end up baking way too much for the people who are coming hang out.

What kid does like dirt… I mean the food variety. I usually make these is the small clear solo cups. Its easy for the kids to handle and eat. Clean up is a simple as 1-2-3.

I even like putting the original peeps on the top. The Eyes of a Boy has a great idea of the mini pie shell. Its too cute.

Lemon Blueberry Cake

I am such a sucker for the whole lemon-blueberry combo. I love making lemon blueberry muffins/loaf. There is something so bright and cheery about that blend.

Lick the Bowl Good has a beautiful recipe she did for her mom’s birthday that is out of this world.

Like holy hot stuff awesome.

I will definitely be making it again this year. I think though I may make them into cupcakes.

Bite-size items seems to get eaten faster than big cakes for holiday with a bunch of people.

Blondies seem to be a hit no matter where you go. I mean you can find variations for every holiday.

I love the recipe because all I usually do is change the sprinkles to match the event.

Sallys Baking Addiction has a great and easy recipe. It seems every loves treats that you just grab and rejoin the party.

BONUS – Cinnamon Roll Bunniesbunny-rabbit-cinnamon-rolls-for-easter-900x600

I saw this and thought my boys would flip if they woke up to these for breakfast.  WE are a little addicted to cinnamon rolls like every Saturday morning with a pounds of bacon.

A Girl and a Glue Gun had this and I thought it was genius.

I just can’t help but find sweet treats to go with every holiday and gathering. It warms my heart to bake for others.

Cooking, hummm, I think not. LOL

Happy Spring Break y’all! — xo Carmen
