Sarah, Plain and Tall by Patricia LacLachlan

My Thoughts:

I remembered reading a portion of this during one of my reading classes. I also remembered watching the movie with Glen Close when I was a child. So when I needed to find a book published the year I was born I jumped on this one.

It was as sweet and wholesome as I remembered. Deep down it showed the human connection and the bond of family.

My Rating: four-starsfour-starsfour-starsfour-stars I WOULD PULL AN ALL-NIGHTER — This book was a really enjoyable read. I really liked it. Some moments I may have even loved

To All the Boys I Have Loved Before by Jenny Han

My Thoughts:

Let me start off by saying that I watched the Netflix movie before reading this. I don’t know how the books escaped my notice when I already love Jenny Han’s summer series.

Lara Jean is lovely. You get so deep into her thoughts and feelings. Her emotions are so rough, pure and so teen. But I devoured every word. The characters in the book and easily be connect to people for my high school past.

My Rating:five-starsfive-starsfive-starsfive-starsfive-starsIT WAS AMAZING! I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! I’M TOTALLY OBSESSED! — This book was absolutely breathtaking. I LOVED it.

My reads for this week are:

These are all from the library. I am going to take a break from my personal stack which only has 3 books left.IMG_9239.JPG

School Is Going Great!

School is going great. My groups is wonderful. My kids are also falling into a routine. Things have ironed out and is running smoothly.

Cooper finished his first full week of school. Some morning he wasn’t about putting on his uniforms but his attitude quickly changed.

We only have a two camping trips left. Nothing to fear football here. LSU football kicks off the second weekend of Sept. The hubby and I are excited about our Saturday nights under th lights.

Some of our Friday night goofs…LOL

Oil of the Week.jpeg

Super B

This isn’t an oil but is infused with oils and has saved me these first few weeks of school.

Who couldn’t use some extra pep in their step.

Super B contains all 8 B vitamins and helps maintain a healthy energy level.

I can definitely tell the difference when I forgot to take them.

  • I am back on pace to finish my Goodreads Reading Challenge…WOOHOO!!! Keep reading is the goal. I like I have some great library picks.
  • Take time each morning before I start my days to reflect on my blessings.
  • Keep a manageable to-do list to keep everything on track with everyone’s activities.

That’s all y’all…LOL! How was your week? Have you read any of the books I listed…give me the scoop? Any thoughts about my week? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for stopping by! — xx
