Learning to Juggle and Balance

Things are going well with school for all. Our other activities are starting like religion sessions, cub scouts and our weekly library trips.

I struggled in the beginning at balancing everything with these activities starting. *Hence no new blog posts in the last two weeks*

But, hey, life happens! Things have leveled off which is great. Both boys are enjoying school.

We went camping for Labor Day weekend. It rained off and on the whole time but it as nice to take a break from everything and slow down.

The hubby and I also got our first date night since June. You know we try to have them once a month but during the summer we camp so much that makes it hard.

Our flagship school, LSU, had their first home game last night. We such much enjoy spending the evenings under the lights. I can’t say that I love football or don’t like football. What I can say is I love our university. So getting my team gear on, cheering them on and spending time with my favorite people is what I love the most.

Don’t misunderstand…I am not the chic who watching football on TV college or pro. LOL

Oil of the Week.jpeg

Peace and Calming

I have definitely needed this lately. Sometimes the world is like a TV with static on volume 100.

You need a way to turn that white noise down to see and focus on what is important.

Finding the quiet and calm matters a great deal.

PS – This is one of the first oils I feel in love with because its great for relaxing and promotes restful sleep.

Plus the aroma is INSANELY INCREDIBLE!

  • I am 1 book ahead on my Goodreads Reading Challenge…WOOHOO!!!
  • Continue to take time each morning before I start my days to reflect on my blessings.
  • Still working on a manageable to-do list to keep everything on track with everyone’s activities.

That’s all y’all…LOL! How was your week? Have you read any of the books I listed…give me the scoop? Any thoughts about my week? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for stopping by! — xx
