I hope so. I think they have a plenty of promise. We shall see. Are anything of mine picks on your radar???

      1. I really want to read those Kevin Kwan books after having seen the film. I’ve heard mixed reviews for the Holly Black book but I’m still kind of interested in it. The rest are new to me, but look interesting!

I try not to weigh too much on others reviews. Sometimes I really enjoy them when others don’t. We shall see. Happy to share some potential new reads for you.

      3. Honestly I’m the same. It’s all so subjective.

One Dark Throne is one of my favourite books ever! I love that series. You should add Queens of Fennbirn to your list as that’s the novella. I’m picking up the Two Dark Reigns when it releases next month (in paperback, it’s out now in hardcover)

I sure will add that book to my list. Two Dark Reigns is on my Christmas wish list. My bestie and I always have an ever evolving book wishlist that we pick from for each other at our birthdays and Christmas gifts. We feed each other’s addiction to books. 😁😆

I like the color scheme you have going with your books! As you saw in my post I read The Cruel Prince and really enjoyed it and then I also have The Silence of Girls by Pat Barker sitting on mine ready for me to read ones of these days.

I am reading The Silence of the Girls now and am really enjoyed a fresh new perspective on a mythological story. A kinder spirit to Madeline Miller.

Oh wonderful! I think I may have to read that in the upcoming months. Fingers crossed!

I think the Discovery of Witches is next for me. The British network Sky One just released a new show based on it and the previews look amazing. I see some of the episodes are on YouTube. I am very wishy washy right now as to what to rEad next. 🤷‍♀️

I am a very big mood reader, so I have a hard time planning or sticking to my plans. The only plans I stick to are the books I have on loan from the library since I have a deadline.

Me too. The library ones usually take precedent over the others because of the return date. HAHA! WE are so similar. Happy to know I am not the only one.

  4. Love your list! Sky in the Deep and Wicked Deep were amazing. Cruel Prince was strange, but the ending is WOW. Daughter of the Pirate King was so much fun!
